Courses Description

Mahdiya course is an educational venture under the Centre for Public Education and Training of Darul Huda Islamic University, Kerala. The course is designed to ensure the religious education with the material education for female students who are studying in higher secondary and degree level. CPET (Centre for Public Education and Training) is a venture under Darul Huda Islamic University which started in 2012 to serve in the field of public education and to design and implement various courses for public people.  The two-year course started in 2016 in the name of CMS (Certificate in Moral Studies) and later renamed to Mahdiya Course, expanding into degree level in 2019. Currently there are more than 60 centers for the course.

Aim

Supreme aim of this course is to equip the female community who have an important role in empowering society for living with moral values and making them responsible to society by educating them, and making them capable of conducting propagations timely.

Curriculum

The course has an interesting and detailed customised curriculum including Islamic religious texts and books dealing with relevant topics. The course was designed in the format giving general knowledge in Islamic studies combined with higher secondary and degree studies. Institution also provides registration and support classes of Scole Kerala (State council for open and lifelong education -Kerala) for plus one studying.

Curriculum includes subjects like Quran, Thafseer, Hadees,Fiqh, Aqeeda, Thajweed, family science, Thareekh, Thasawwuf , Nahv and Swarf. Different training programs, study classes and various art competitions are also part of this course. Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 05:00 pm to 07:30 PM, Considering the special situations of Abu Dhabi.
